FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

  • Do I need an initial consultation before joining a reformer class? That depends, you will need an initial consultation if you haven’t had an experience on a reformer or if you have a current or recent injury. If you have experience with the reformer and feel you don’t need an initial consultation you are welcome to jump straight in to classes.
  • How do I book my classes/initial consultation? You have a few choices, you can jump online and book yourself BOOK HERE or if you would prefer to email hello@mindyourmovement.co.nz or call 022 4097109.
  • Where is the studio located? Our studio is located at The Village Ōmokoroa. Block A, unit 9.
  • What do I wear and bring to Pilates? Please wear whatever you are comfortable to exercise in, we do ask you don’t have zips on your clothing as they can damage the upholstery on our apparatus. You are welcome to bring along a water bottle, we do have water available.
  • Do I need to wear socks? The studio policy is socks must be worn during class for hygiene purposes. Our studio have non slip socks available for purchase if you wish.
  • How long to the classes go for? 55 minutes
  • How many people in a reformer class? At Mind Your Movement we keep our classes at an intimate number of 6 to ensure we can give each member of the class individualised attention.
  • What are your opening hours? We are open Monday – Saturday. You can find our timetable on our website under Ōmokoroa Studio Timetable.
  • What is your cancellation policy? We have a 12 hour cancellation policy, if you need to cancel your class please give us 12 hours notice. Failure to do this will result in you being charged for the class.
  • Can I share a pack with a family member? Yes, you can share a pack with a family member. Have a chat to one of our teachers if you are wishing to share your pack.
  • Do you have a waitlist for classes? Yes we do, you can place yourself on the waitlist and as soon as you get a spot you will receive an email notification.
  • I am pregnant, what’s the best class for me to join? cparticipate in class? All of our Reformer ONE classes can be modified to be prenatal friendly. If your pregnancy is straight forward with no complications from 0-16 weeks you can continue with your normal class. At the 17 week mark your teacher will start to modify.
